Pro-tech Fabrication was comprised to offer the highest quality, most reliable, and benificial products to the racing community to date. Pro-tech was founded in 2001 by fabricator Mike Collins of Moreno Valley, California. Mike started his welding career in 1996 at the age of 16, and has gained a vast amount of experience over the years that he has passed onto him from his father Bruce who has a vast amount of metal working knowledge. All of pro-tech's personnel hold certifications that include the Aerospace, Heat Treating, General, Structural Architectural Fabrications, and Automotive Industries. All personnel have certifications (while using the GTAW AWS process D1.1 GMAW process) that include:
- ASME section 9 on Inconnel 718
- Mil std. 1595 on aluminum from 2000 series to 6000 series
- Mil std. 1595 on high carbon steels 4130 and 4430
- Mil std. 1595 on 300 series stainless
